Aurotapes was conceived in the year 1984 as ‘Advance tapes’ for manufacturing of BOPP based self-adhesive tapes, used extensively for packing of corrugated cartons. The concept of packaging had undergone revolutionary changes around the world. Since then, we have been developing new specialty adhesive tapes based on polyester, nylon cloth, aluminum foil, cotton cloth, tissue paper etc.
In the year 1990, we pioneered the designing, manufacturing, and marketing of surface protection —self-adhesive tapes under the brand name ‘Safer PE’ for the 1st time in India which was a runaway success.
